IF YOU HAVE AN OLD SET AS I DO,THE GYRO LAUNCHER ALMOST ALWAYS SURVIVES THE TEST OF TIME. THE KIDS BROKE THE STUNT CYCLE LONG AGO AND EVEL WAS M.I.A. I WAS ABLE TO REBUILD AN OLD SET WITH EVEL IN THE CORRECT OUTFIT AND INTRODUCE YET ANOTHER GENERATION TO ONE OF THE COOLEST TOYS OF ALL TIME! IF YOU WONDER WHY I SAID THE TOY HAS GREAT EDUCATIONAL VALUE IT'S BECAUSE IT REQUIRES PHYSICAL INTERACTION NOT JUST SITTING IN FRONT OF THE TV SET. YOU CAN LEARN ALL KIND OF NEAT TRICKS AND SKILLS.

Once I saw that they had re-issued this I had to get it. Looks and works great. Just like the original. Maybe I was too young to remember but I thought itr worked just like the original. You have to really crank the mutha. Crashing this thing into a wall was the most fun I have had in years. Highly recomended. I had two of these bad boys as a kid and both came to unfortunate ends. The last one I jumped off the second floor porch of our old two family home. Wonder how this one will eat it?

Looks sharp. Fits all the various chargers. Comes w/a precise Evel figure w/ helmet. Very cool. But, does not boogie fast enough like the original 70's bikes, or the (I highly recommend) 198 Playing Mantis Evel stunt sets. Still, this is cool (and I m in my 40's!)For 15- 20 bucks, how can you go wrong?!
